Quod secured hybrid planning consent on behalf of Albion Land for 45 residential dwellings and circa 6,500 sq m of flexible Class B employment floorspace on a run down industrial estate within the Hertfordshire Green Belt.

The development will deliver long awaited physical and environmental improvements to this former industrial site including the provision of significant new landscaping and public open space together with substantial drainage and highway improvements.

Along with project managing the application and providing the supporting evidence to demonstrate the scheme satisfied the ‘very special circumstances’ test of the NPPF, Quod provided financial modelling to underpin the case for a balanced s106 and CIL package.
