Quod wins RTPI Planning Consultancy of the year
Quod is immensely proud to have been awarded Planning Consultancy of the Year 2023 at the National Royal Town Planning Institute Planning Excellence awards on November the 21st 2023. The award recognised our role in supporting economic growth and combining this with improved social and environmental outcomes.
Our work on equality, diversity and inclusion was commended – ‘Judges were impressed by the systematic and pro-active approach to Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) that Quod have developed. The independent review undertaken to enhance their EDI activities represents a beacon for other organisations at every level to emulate’. The judges also recognised initiatives to make Quod an even more inclusive, diverse, knowledgeable and enjoyable place to work for all. This approach carries through to our work, understanding the need for inclusivity, diversity and representation in the projects and communities we work in.
Our submission focused on our project work within Leeds West Innovation Arc. Amongst a number of schemes in this part of the City, Quod secured consent for two of the largest and most complex schemes, which will continue the transformational change with social, environmental and economic benefits for the City Centre and surrounding communities.
Our teams provide dynamic independent consultancy at the cutting edge of planning, development economics, socio-economics and environmental planning across the UK throughout all sectors, and we are proud to work for some of the best clients in the property industry who trust in our services.
Thank you to the RTPI for an amazing event showcasing the very best in planning and what it offers to communities. Also thank you to all those who helped put our submission together and the clients who endorsed us.
Congratulations to all the other winners, including our client Associated British Ports. We are delighted to see ABP win In-House Planning Team of the Year. We look forward to continuing to work closely together on a number of key strategic projects.
