Following revisions to the Hammersmith and Fulham Local Plan which sought to increase the Borough’s housing target in addition to local context changes, Quod were instructed to consider a planning strategy for optimisation of the site, and the effects on a partly implemented planning permission.
Quod submitted and negotiated a detailed planning application to supersede the extant permission resulting in an intensified proposal comprising a 68% residential increase (an uplift of 333 units) compared to the original permission.
This was achieved through a significant increase in height at the site. Quod played a key role in successful tall building negotiations with the Borough which led to the approval of a 31 storey building in place of the originally consented 9 storey building.
