Joe is currently undertaking an MSc in Spatial Planning and Development from Cardiff University, with a keen interest in housing land supply and urban renewal. Previously having completed a BA (Hons) in Political Science from Chester University forming the basis for his love for Town and Urban Planning.
Joe has experience working in the public sector at Gloucestershire County Council within the Integrated Transport Unit (ITU) throughout his undergraduate degree. His role entailed working closely with the procurement team to organise specialist transport for vulnerable adults and children throughout Gloucestershire County.
Joe also worked within the Highways Commissioning department at Gloucestershire County Council as a Stakeholder Engagement Officer. In this role, he gained an intricate understanding of Gloucestershire’s Highways Network, in addition to Highways Planning Policy and the road resurfacing process.
Outside of work and academia, Joe is a keen sportsman, with Rugby and Tennis being his go-to sports, having played rugby since he was nine. He is also an avid gym goer and enjoys cooking and socialising with friends.
